Registration Status

There are three registration options that may be available, depending on a student’s year, standing and class: Credit, Pass/Fail or Audit.

Credit

Courses registered for credit will receive a traditional letter grade, credits and honor points associated with the course. Honor points and credits are used to calculate the GPA.

Pass/Fail

A Pass/Fail option is available to junior and senior students in good academic standing in lieu of a traditional letter grade. Courses taken as Pass/Fail will not count towards degree requirements (core, divisional, major, minor, etc.) and will not affect a students GPA.

Audit

A student auditing a class is responsible for all the work required for the course and the full tuition, and will not receive credit or honor points for the course.
