As a parent, you want the absolute best for your student, and because of this you probably struggle with when to intervene and when to steer clear of challenging situations that arise in his/her life.  This struggle does not end when he/she goes off to college, and recent research actually suggests parental involvement in a college student’s day-to-day activities is increasing. 

We understand your concerns and want you to be a partner in this academic adventure.  You know your student better, and if you feel that he/she is not getting involved, feeling isolated, not sure how to navigate their way around campus - you should send us an email to sal@suffolk.edu so that we can work together to best assist the student.  It is very important that we work as a team to ensure that our students are successful.
