Student Email Accounts

If you enrolled as a student prior to Fall 2007, your User ID is the first 3 characters of your last name plus the first 5 digits of your Student ID number. All letters must be lower case.

For example, Jane Doe, ID #1234567 would access her email as doe12345. A student with a 2-character last name would use those two letters with the first 5 digits of  her Student ID number. 

If you enrolled in Fall 2007 or later, your user ID is your first name initial plus your middle name initial plus your last name in lowercase. If you do not have a middle name, your ID will be your first name initial plus last name. Your User ID is limited to eight characters, so John M. Schneider would access his email as jmschnei.  

Faculty and Staff Email Accounts

Faculty and staff use the first letter of their first name plus the first 7 letters of their last name.  If your last name is shorter than 7 letters it will be the entire name.
