Boston -- The remarkable story of how Suffolk University grew in 100 years from a law class with a handful of students to a global institution is told in a Centennial exhibit that draws from photographs, artifacts and information in the University Archives.
Suffolk University: Celebrating 100 Years of Exceeding Expectations takes the form of a lively timeline, displaying highlights of the University’s mission, academics, student life and buildings. The juxtaposition of a world timeline gives perspective to Suffolk’s evolution from 1906 to 2006.
“The exhibit presents the richness of Suffolk’s history and shows the impact Suffolk has had on higher education,” said University Archivist Beth Bower, curator of Suffolk University: Celebrating 100 Years of Exceeding Expectations.
The exhibit is at the Adams Gallery, Suffolk University Law School, 120 Tremont St., Boston, through Dec. 9, 2006. The Adams Gallery is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
