The International Day Festival is Suffolk University Dakar’s annual celebration of student diversity. Each year, students join together with faculty and staff to present the rich diversity of our community through sports, food tasting, cultural dances, music and fashion.

This effort recognizes first and foremost the diversity represented within our Dakar campus, but also affirms the value of each individual as part of the group. Each member of our community may have come from their respective cultures, but once they have joined Suffolk Dakar, they have started on the path to global citizenship.

International Day will be celebrating its 5th year in 2008 on Saturday March 22nd, 2008.

International Day Goals:

• Showcase the educational opportunities available at Suffolk University Dakar.
• Share the variety of cultures represented in Africa through country exhibitions.
• Celebrate the diversity represented by our campus community.
