Neuropsychology is the science of brain-behavior relationships, and clinical neuropsychologists specialize in the assessment and treatment of individuals of all ages with dysfunction of the central nervous system. It is one of the fastest growing areas in psychology, with applications in education, vocational, rehabilitation, medical, psychiatric, and forensic settings.
The graduate psychology program at Suffolk University offers a neuropsychology concentration within its APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology. The neuropsychology concentration is in compliance with the Houston conference guidelines for training students in neuropsychology. It is also meant to fulfill eventual coursework requirements for board certification in clinical neuropsychology (i.e. ABPP-CN).
For more information about the neuropsychology concentration, email the neuropsychology fellow, Dr. David Gansler, Dr. Elisabeth Moes, or Dr. Matt Jerram.
