Organizations are continuously looking for ways to be ahead of the competition. Having individuals link their learning to their organization’s learning and growth strategies addresses an organization’s competitive drive.

The Graduate Organizational Learning Certificate Program focuses on the key competencies and processes for adult education, organizational learning and organizational development with the end result being enhanced organizational learning performance.

  • Encouraging a long-term perspective while managing the short term

The Graduate Organizational Learning Certificate will enable you to apply these key competencies to the following positions: organizational development practitioners, corporate trainers, internal/ external consultants, and change agents within organizations.

Five (5) of the graduate credit courses from this program may be transferred to the M.S. degree in Adult and Organizational Learning. The transfer of courses must occur prior to the completion of the certificate program.

Certificate Requirements

The Graduate Organizational Learning Certificate Program is an 18-credit (six-course) program. Each course awards three graduate credits. The graduate credit courses in the program can be applied to the M.S. in Organizational Learning and Development.

Admission Requirements

The following are required for admission to the Graduate Organizational Learning Certificate Program:

  • A Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited institution
  • Two letters of recommendation, preferably from employers or supervisors
  • Completion of the Graduate Application for Admission

Note: No test is required for admission to the Certificate Program.
  
Courses for Graduate academic credit from this certificate program may be transferred to the MS in Adult and Organizational Learning Program prior to completion of the certificate. The entrance test for the M.S. Degree in Organization Learning will be waived for those completing four courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.5.
