The Administration of Higher Education program is committed to the practical preparation of administrators and educators in a range of higher education environments. The program is designed to provide competencies for those employed or seeking employment in academic advising offices, admissions, alumni, development, college unions, athletics, career planning and placement centers, offices of residence life, orientation, student activities centers, financial aid, offices of the registrar, and a host of other professional positions at colleges and universities and other higher education-related agencies and organizations.

The curriculum also provides an excellent foundation for students who want to continue their studies and enroll in a doctoral program in higher education administration, college student personnel administration, or counselor education.
