• Crime Statistics

The Cleary Act was passed in 1990 and amended in 1998. It requires that all colleges and universities to make certain crime data available to the public. Crimes that must be reported under the act include murder and non-negligent manslaughter, forcible and nonforcible sex offenses, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft, arson and negligent manslaughter, drug and alcohol abuse, and all hate crimes.

In addition to University crime statistics, Suffolk University also makes Boston Police Department crime statistics available.
