Certificate of Advanced Study in Public Administration

This advanced certificate program is designed to help you increase your understanding of current concepts and tools used in public administration.

This is a valuable program for MPA graduates entering new areas of public administration or seeking to advance in their current professional. Students select 5 courses from a pool of 40 alternatives, tailoring their program of study to meet their career goals.

In addition to this five-course certificate program, you may elect a specialization by taking an additional course. Specializations are available in Health, Nonprofit Management, State and Local Government.

Admission Requirements

You must:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree and an MPA from a school accredited by NASPAA
• Complete prerequisite courses as a non-certificate candidate if you have a management degree other than MPA.
