Listen, read, and watch the news – business today is operating in a global economy. Today, business basics include an understanding of international business.
As a Suffolk MBA Online student, you’ll be required to take the course Managing in the Global Environment, learning the consequences of cross-cultural factors, government policies, and financial practices on global business. You’ll also be required to take one of your electives in the international business area.
If you want to experience global business first-hand, you may want to join Suffolk campus MBAs in a one-week global travel seminar as one of your elective courses.
You’ll make corporate visits, sit at the conference table with international executives; and experience the social, political, and cultural factors that affect business in, for example, China, Brazil, or Germany .
“There is no better way to learn about the global economy than to experience it first hand. Suffolk MBAs sitting at the table with BMW executives in Munich discussing world trade issues was one of many highlights of the Germany global seminar!”

Associate Professor of Management and leader of the global seminar to Germany
