The Suffolk Executive MBA delivers a practical, cross-functional business approach to executive learning. Using an intensive cluster-based curriculum, cohorts of 25-30 students attend 4 clusters of courses, 4 residential seminars, and design and deliver an experiential, career based, field research project over a period of 18 months.
Each Saturday Executive MBA students attend two classes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Breakfast, lunch and breaks keep students energized throughout the day. Students often use break times to meet in workgroups, catch up with each other and discuss business trends and news of the week. Speaker series, social and alumni events give students optional opportunities to network outside the classroom.

Our program is developed specifically for mid-career executives and professionals who plan to assume leadership positions within their respective organizations. Students have many opportunities to assume leadership roles both inside and outside the classroom. Virtual teams, group projects, simulations and self-assessment tools allow you to develop and enhance your practical leadership style. You will be equipped to communicate effectively with customers, partners and teams, and you will be inspired to lead change, globally and strategically.
A highlight of our leadership training is the 5-day Leadership and Teambuilding Seminar. Students develop and refine their organizational leadership skills through classroom learning and physical challenge.
Case studies, lectures, experiential learning, management simulations, and residential seminars are delivered in a team-centric environment. Unlike traditional MBA programs where students take courses in sequential order, Suffolk Executive MBA courses are taught in clusters that mirror key business environments.
The Executive MBA cohort structure promotes the personal development of each student within a team-centric environment. Students take advantage of the variety of backgrounds and distinct experiences of their classmates; our cohort structure provides excellent networking opportunities. Cohorts are capped at 30 students.
