In the Management department, you will find two dozen talented faculty members who have expertise spanning strategic planning, entrepreneurship, interpersonal skills, negotiation and conflict resolution, leadership, innovation, change management, power and politics, global business, emotional intelligence, mentoring, workplace diversity, ethics, and more.
They will prepare you to understand, analyze, and respond to the dynamic needs of managing and leading employees within complex organizations in the global marketplace. Our courses incorporate active learning experiences that allow you to develop your analytical and decision making abilities, your team facilitation skills, and your awareness and successful incorporation of diverse viewpoints and contributions.
The Management department hosts three undergraduate majors: Entrepreneurship, Global Business, and Management; and two MBA concentrations in Entrepreneurship and International Business.
Our Center for Entrepreneurial Studies serves the needs of current and future entrepreneurs by offering academic degree programs, sponsoring entrepreneurship programs and school stores at area high schools, and fostering partnerships within the Boston community.
Our Center for Innovation and Change Leadership creates a collaborative learning environment that enables our students, faculty, and community members to become successful leaders of change in the practice of innovation in global business and public service. The Center fosters research that spans academic disciplines, and offers courses on such topics as Change Leadership, Innovation, and Creativity. The Center also hosts events for students and researchers that develop knowledge, skills and professional relationships in the areas of innovation and change leadership.
