The rapid growth of China and its integration into the global economy continues to be the most important story in global business. The swift and massive transformation has created enormous opportunities and challenges to those who want to do business in China and to those who must now compete with Chinese companies. The strong development is also reorganizing Chinese society in unprecedented ways. By joining Professor Giana Exckhardt for this ten day experience in China you will engage in a series of interactive visits with Chinese and interational business leaders will provide direct experience and a unique exposure to China. Combined with cultural immersion experiences, you will have an enriching, life changing experience.

Important Note: Those taking this class will not be able to officially graduate in May, 2009. If students have fulfilled all other graduation requirements, they may be able to "walk" in the May 2009 commencement ceremony, but will not receive an official degree until September, 2009. This is due to the fact that grades will not be recorded until June 2009, well after the normal spring semester has ended. Until grades are reported, students will have an NG (No Grade) on their transcript. Please contact the Registrar’s Office for more information about overall graduation requirements.
