Admission requirements

Students must meet the admission requirements for both programs of the joint degree, and declare the joint degree option during the first year of matriculation for all programs in the Sawyer Business School and College of Arts and Sciences. Admission to the joint programs with the Law School is available to current evening and full-time Suffolk Law students and current Suffolk graduate students, as well as students who have just completed their bachelor’s degrees at other institutions.

Applicants to Suffolk’s graduate joint degree programs must submit:

  • Completed application(s) with appropriate fee (Request an Application here)
  • Resume
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work
  • Two letters of reference
  • Statement of professional goals
  • Required test scores as applicable (GMAT, LSAT, GRE or MAT)
  • International students for whom English is not a first language must also submit an official copy of the results of the TOEFL exam. (Permanent residents and graduates of U.S. universities within the last two years are not required to submit a TOEFL score.)
    • All international students must provide a statement of financial resources in US dollars.

Housing

Although there is no on-campus housing for graduate students, the University will assist you in finding appropriate housing near our campus.

Financial aid

Suffolk University offers innovative financial aid programs to help graduate students finance their education. Graduate students may apply for aid in the form of grants, loans, employment programs and fellowships. Contact the Office of Financial Aid at 617.573.8470 for an application and/or more information.

International graduate students are eligible for institutional fellowships at Suffolk University on a merit basis. However, there are no financial aid awards that cover tuition and all living expenses.
