To commemorate Suffolk University’s 100th anniversary, a special Centennial seal has been developed to be used on University publications and other printed materials over the course of the anniversary year. Correct usage of the Centennial seal is important to ensure the integrity of the University’s image through its communication efforts and therefore must reflect the highest level of quality. The following guidelines have been developed to help you ensure this quality and to facilitate effective and consistent usage of the seal.
Creative Services is available to assist with Centennial seal usage as needed throughout the year. Several standard versions of Centennial seal artwork are available to download. Other variations may apply. If you do not find a version that meets your need, or if you have questions about using the seal in your project, contact Donald Suthard (dsuthard@suffolk.edu) or Sarah Medina (smedina@suffolk.edu) in Creative Services for recommendations and assistance.
The Centennial seal should be prominently displayed on anything that will be printed for use during the Centennial year (2006– 2007). These items should have a shelf life of one year or less and should not be in use beyond the end of December 2007.
When using the Centennial seal, it should be featured prominently on publications (not hidden among other graphics).
The seal was designed to be used in full-color, PMS 281, or black. If your design does not accommodate one of these versions, please contact Donald Suthard (dsuthard@suffolk.edu) or Sarah Medina (smedina@suffolk.edu) in Creative Services for assistance.
