• Role & Responsibilities
  • Receive first-hand information and updates from university administrators about university deadlines, programs and services.
  • Communicate with parents of admitted students from your home country.
  • Personally welcome families of newly enrolled students to the Suffolk family.
  • Reach out to parents of current Suffolk students to involve them in the Suffolk community and to share experiences and advice.
  • Contact selected prospective parents (both undergraduate and graduate level, depending on your interest) via phone, mail, and/or email, and answer questions.
  • Host periodic programs for current and interested families, and for visiting Suffolk administrators in your home country.
  • Recommend institutions in your home country Where Suiffolk might recruit potential students.
  • Inform the University of potential local internship opportunities for Suffolk students.
  • Advise the Center for International Education on programs for international families such as the International Parent Welcome Program.
  • Share feedback with theCenter for International Education about the student experience at Suffolk University.

When we receive your application, a staff member from the Center for International Education will contact you and provide an information packet. You may serve for as long as you wish, from one semester to your child’s full academic tenure. In fact, many parents continue to participate after graduation.
