Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) is located in one of Latin America’s most beautiful cities.  Its campus is located in the Santa Fe area of Mexico City, also known as the “City of Palaces.” Founded in 1943 by Jesuit priests with a school of philosophy and literature, Universidad Iberoamericana has grown steadily and now has a student body of over with 10,500 students. They  offer 49 various degree programs at the bachelors, graduate or Ph.D. levels.  Courses are offered in both English and Spanish.

Accommodations:
There are no dormitories on the UIA Campus. Instead, UIA has a network of Mexican families who have experience in hosting students in their private homes. Many study abroad programs and universities alike have generally accepted placing students in private Mexican residences as a rewarding bicultural and social experience. In supervised housing service, students are placed two to a room with bathroom facilities. Single rooms may be requested in advance for an extra fee.

Costs:
Students are billed by Suffolk for tuition only.   Housing is paid directly to UIA.

Housing costs are estimated to be approximately $1,600 per term for double occupancy room.  All housing fees given are estimates and may change due to fluctuations in the exchange rate.
