’Functions, graphs, analytic geometry of lines and circles, limits, continuity, derivatives, differential calculus of algebraic and trigonometric functions; applications to rate problems, maxima and minima and curve sketching. Prerequisite: Solid preparation in high school algebra and trigonometric or MATH 121 or appropriate Math Placement Exam score. (3 lecture hours plus 1 recitation hours per week.) Normally offered each semester. 1 term - 3 semester hours. ’
